College Transition Program

Southeastern Employment Services provides support for students graduating from high school and students enrolled in college that have social and/or emotional barriers that may directly affect their success in college. We provide support services that assist students with making a successful transition to college.

Benefits to the individual include:

  • Coaching on communicating with professors in person and electronically
  • Organizing class notes and presentations
  • Practicing good study habits
  • Organizing study time and personal time
  • Researching social groups and activities on campus
  • Learning about resources within the college setting that can help with natural supports
  • Coaching on social networking and building natural supports
