Assessments / Work Evaluations

Assessments and Work Evaluations provide the individual with an opportunity to explore a work situation and their interest in a particular type of job. It gives Southeastern Employment Services staff the chance to complete an initial assessment of individual skills and abilities at a local business. Assessments/Work Evaluations are typically completed in one to two weeks.

Benefits to the individual include:

• An opportunity to learn about the skills needed for success in a particular type of work
• Payment for work done during the evaluation period
• Assistance in learning job skills and tasks from an on-site job coach
