Job Placement
For individuals for whom traditional employment-related activities such as filling out applications, going for interviews, etc. are, in themselves, barriers to employment, SES staff will facilitate a placement in a job that meets the needs and interests of individuals who want to work. A job coach will be available to assist the individual to learn the skills and tasks of the job, to facilitate participation and integration in the work environment, and to develop relationships with their supervisor and co-workers.
Benefits to the individual include:
- Professional assistance in obtaining employment
- Assistance with resumes and interviews
- Assistance with disclosure and accommodations if needed
- On-going support if needed
- Follow-up services
