College Transition Program
Southeastern Employment Services provides support for students graduating from high school and students enrolled in college that have social and/or emotional barriers that may directly affect their success in college. We provide support services that assist students with making a successful transition to college.
Benefits to the individual include:
- Coaching on communicating with professors in person and electronically
- Organizing class notes and presentations
- Practicing good study habits
- Organizing study time and personal time
- Researching social groups and activities on campus
- Learning about resources within the college setting that can help with natural supports
- Coaching on social networking and building natural supports
